Leonbergers are high-energy dogs with amazing intelligence. They do well in obedience, agility, water rescue work, drafting, as therapy dogs, and in many other outdoor activities, but it takes lots of patience, training, work, and time. Most Leos will do anything for their owners, given the right motivation.
The LCA offers a Versatility Titling Program designed to recognize those Leonbergers who truly exemplify the spirit of a "working Leonberger". LCA-sanctioned titles accepted as qualifications for the Versatility program are: LCA CH or LCA CC, LCA Agility, LCA Obedience, LCA Water Work, or LCA Draft titles.
