Special LCA Awards

The Leonberger Club of America could not have been founded, built upon, and sustained itself as successfully as it has without the hard work by so many dedicated members.  We would like to take this opportunity to showcase this award created by the LCA to recognize such individuals.

The Leo Award

Recognizing that no dog club can run without the work and support of our volunteer base, the Leonberger Club of America board created this award in 1999.  This award is to be presented annually to the individual or individuals that make the greatest contribution to the LCA in the preceding year. The Leo award is presented to the recipient at the Awards banquet and the National Specialty each year. While everyone who serves on the board, a committee, serves as a chair or regional club officer donated countless hours of their own time and money to work on behalf of the LCA, the individuals below have gone above and beyond the call of duty!
