The LCA has various committees, entirely comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to the preservation of the breed, which exist to deal with various aspects of breed-related issues. The LCA cannot exist without the dedication that all of our volunteer members put into their jobs!
LCA committees and chairs serve the club in several different capacities. There is the Board of Directors, whose function is to manage and direct the club operations on a daily basis. There are the "Standing Committees" who serve the Board of Directors in various capacities as they relate to individual club operations. The "Special Committees" functions are called upon as necessary. And finally, there are the many individual "Chair" positions who serve specific and on-going needs of club operations.
Any LCA member in good standing with the club is invited to serve on the LCA Board, as well as on any of the LCA Committees. If you are interested in possibly joining a committee, please contact the individual committe chair for further information and committee guidelines.
Please use the links on the left to visit each committee's website as well as to contact any person serving on an LCA Committee.
