Purpose: The Breeding Committee works to educate LCA members in order to protect, preserve, and further the qualities of the Leonberger breed and to assist the Board in matters relating to the breeding of Leonberger Dogs.
Composition: The LCA Breeding Committee members are appointed by the Board on the recommendation of current BC members. The BC is comprised of 3 to 7 members. Currently we have no limit on associate members. Anyone interested in joining should send a letter of intent to the Chair and the BC will vote at either their mid-year or their annual meeting based upon need.
