Leonbergers were approved to participate in AKC companion dog events beginning 2006, and you can also show your Leos in AKC Sanction B matches for LCA championship points.
Beginning July 1, 2008 Leonbergers can compete in AKC Conformation Shows in Miscellaneous Class. Although AKC points and titles will not be earned, the results will count for LCA championship points.
